First of all, there is so much for you to do in Hawaii. There are 8 islands that make-up Hawaii for you to visit. Come and see the island of Lanai. Lanai has the largest pineapple plantation in the world. Molokai is called the friendly island, where you can come and meet the Aloha spirit who flourishes there. In Hawaii surfing is a famous sport, so you can surf in the giant waves and the beaches are quite beautiful. Some other places to visit are the museums. The museums in Hawaii are filled with history and culture. Another place to visit is Waimea Canyon. It was formed by rivers and lava thousands years ago. It is 10 miles long and 3,500 feet deep!

Hawaii’s state is so warm this is what you should bring. In Hawaii it is as hot as lava so you need to dress lightly. You need to wear shorts, tee shirts, flip flops, and sneakers. In the winter Hawaii can reach up to 75°F. In the summer Hawaii can get up to 95°F, and sometimes over 100°F!

Finally, Hawaii has some fascinating facts for you to know. Mount Waialeale is the wettest place on earth! It has an average rainfall of 460 inches every year! Hawaii also has a state tree, which is the kukui tree. In fact the kukui tree can grow up to 80 feet tall! The state bird is the Nene Goose. The Nene Goose is gray and black. The state flower is the beautiful yellow hibiscus. The yellow hibiscus can grow 15 feet or taller! Hawaii uses its beautiful flowers to make leis that they give to tourists who come to visit the wonderful Hawaii.
